Unlimited Group buys First Base

UK – The newly restructured Unlimited Group has acquired the specialist B2B content and marketing agency, First Base, for an undisclosed amount.

The purchase is to strengthen its B2B and technology expertise with First Base complementing Nelson Bostock Unlimited, its tech PR and communications agency.

First Base’s founder and managing director, Faye Hawkins, will continue to lead the business which will now be based at Unlimited Group’s London office. It will operate as a separate brand, First Base Unlimited.

Tim Bonnet (pictured, middle), president of Unlimited Group said: “Nelson Bostock Unlimited has a strong heritage in the B2B and technology sectors, working with global and challenger brands. This acquisition further strengthens our offer in a market where communications and marketing are converging, enabling us to offer a full range of services from brand building and reputation management through to lead generation and sales.”

Faye Hawkins (pictured, left), managing director, First Base Unlimited added: “Having already partnered with Nelson Bostock Unlimited to deliver marketing and technology solutions for shared clients, this was a natural next step. Unlimited Group’s scale and impressive client list, together with Nelson Bostock Unlimited’s expertise, provides a perfect home for First Base and a launch pad for future growth.”
