Verve launches Manchester office
The hub will initially be led by Andrew Cooper, founder and chief executive of Verve, who has relocated to the region, and Richard Preedy, executive director and joint head of insight.
There will be an initial team of 10 to 15 people working at the Manchester hub, and will include insights specialists.
The new hub will also work closely with other Verve offices in London, Chicago and Iasi, Romania.
Cooper said: “There is a rich seam of research talent in the north and we want to offer a new stimulating and exciting career choice for entrepreneurial insights people.
“Manchester is a fantastic place for a vibrant Verve hub to contribute to a well-balanced flexible working style.”
The opening of the new hub follows the appointment of several employees, including Vishal Mohit as in-house talent manager.
Vishal previously spent more than five years at Spalding Goobey, and at Verve will focus on recruitment across all areas of the business.
Other new recruits in the UK include Matthew Bowls as associate director and Hayley Frost as research manager.
Bowls’ prior roles include spells at YouGov, Havas and Creative Medical Research, and Frost spent 10 years at Maru/Matchbox before joining Verve.
