Verve makes promotions amid increased growth

UK – Community panels and digital research firm Verve has seen growth rise around 28% as it announces several promotions, including Melissa Birkett as research director.

In the financial year ending 31st December 2021, Verve had a turnover of £10.4m, with the company putting its recent growth down to expanding its research specialisms, such as culture and trends, semiotics and innovation, for long-term programme clients coupled with gaining new clients.

The financial results show that growth has, at 28%, outstripped the 23% growth rate registered in 2020.

Verve said that further growth in 2022 would come from the recently-announced partnership with Alida, which was agreed earlier this month and which is focused on customer experience.

In terms of promotions, Birkett (pictured) has worked for Verve since 2014, joining as a senior research executive and working with several key clients including Innocent and John Lewis.

Tomi Durosinmi and Danny Vio have been promoted to research manager at Verve and Talia Austin, who joined the company’s graduate intake last year, has become research executive.

In Verve’s operations team, Oana Pasca has been promoted to associate director, Teodora-Adelina Andone to senior project manager and Cristiana Hubate to community manager.

Anisoara Gherghel, Teodora Alexandra Simon, Nicusoara Bordei and Mihai Grigorescu have all become project managers.

Andrew Cooper, chief executive and founder at Verve, said: “I am very proud of the excellent client work the team has delivered, resulting in stellar revenue growth in 2021.

“With this momentum, and investments already made, I see strong reasons for us to further improve on this upward growth trend in 2022.”
