Vision Critical hires Nielsen execs to TV and film roles
Aaron Paquette (pictured), currently SVP of client services at Nielsen Entertainment, is to join Vision Critical as EVP of TV and film. He is joined by senior research director Gateley Meeker, who takes up the newly created role of VP of TV.
The new VPs will report to Friend, who joined Vision Critical as president of the media and entertainment division in August, two months after leaving his role as president of Ipsos OTX MediaCT, where Paquette oversaw the television practice before joining Nielsen in 2010.
Vision Critical recently announced a $20m investment from OMERS Ventures, the venture capital investment arm of Canadian pension funds giant OMERS. Scott Miller has taken the reins as group CEO this month, replacing founder and co-CEO Andrew Reid who is continuing to lead the firm’s innovation and software development activities.
