ViziSense owner Komli Media reshuffles top management

INDIA— Digital media network and audience measurement firm Komli Media has made changes to its leadership and opened a new engineering centre in Bangalore.

Former chief operating officer Prashant Mehta has been promoted to chief executive while founder and former CEO Amar Goel (pictured) becomes chairman and will act as a mentor to the company.

Mehta was appointed COO in January 2009 and played a key role in the Australian launch of the firm’s online audience measurement platform ViziSense.

Goel said: “Prashant has been a great asset to the Komli family, his strong leadership skills, industry experience and business acumen has helped Komli reach several milestones in the last 12 to 14 months.”

The firm has also opened a new engineering centre in Bangalore. Komli said it plans to hire 50 new members of staff there over the next six months.

Mehta said: “With growing internet penetration and mobile internet, our Bangalore centre will help us scale our offerings and meet the growing demands of the medium.”
