Vojtkova (pictured) is currently director of evaluation and analysis at NatCen and will take up her new role on return from maternity leave on 11th November.

She will lead a team of over 80 researchers specialising in social issues including health, crime and justice, education, work and income.

Prior to joining NatCen, Vojtkova held the role of evaluation specialist at the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation ( 3ie). She is also a trustee of the Social Research Association.

Guy Goodwin, chief executive at NatCen, said: “The National Centre is already the ‘go to’ place for anyone wanting to know about our society and social research and Martina’s leadership skills and drive for high quality and excellence will enable us to continue to build on that reputation.”
