Worldcom OOH hires European head of operations

EUROPE – Out-of-home advertising company Worldcom OOH has named Rubén Valverde as its head of operations for Europe.

Valverde (pictured) will be tasked with strengthening and developing relationships with partners, agencies and outdoor and digital advertising companies across the continent in his new role.

Before joining Worldcom OOH, Valverde was head of marketing and strategy at Japan Tobacco International Iberia and spent 11 years at Siemens, where he reaching the position of global head of marketing and strategy at Siemens Gamesa, which specialises in renewable energy.

Eric Marotel, managing director at Worldcom OOH Europe, said: “Our operations in Europe are experiencing sustained growth. In line with our expansion goals, we are pleased to add Rubén Valverde to our team as head of operations Europe, whose main mission will be the development and execution of operational strategies, ensuring the growth of our inventory and continuing to offer the most strategic locations and innovative formats to our clients.

“Rubén is a professional with over two decades of experience in international markets. His talent and strategic vision will be crucial to strengthening Worldcom’s leadership in Europe and ensuring our delivery standards based on excellence and innovation.”
