WPP acquires Design Bridge
Design Bridge was founded in London in 1986 and now has studios in Amsterdam, New York and Singapore, employing around 400 people. Its revenues for the year ended December 31 2016 were approximately £40m, with gross assets of approximately £28m as at the same date. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Design Bridge will operate as a distinct and independently-positioned brand within the WPP group.
- WPP released its 2017 interim results this morning. Its reported constant currency revenue was up 1.9%, while like-for-like revenue was down 0.3%. Its reported profit after tax was £634m, an increase of 80.6% in constant currency.
