WPP buys customer experience consultancy
Founded in 2004, Velvet Consulting works with clients on their marketing, sales and customer service practices. The company’s services include change management, data mining and statistical modelling.
WPP said the consultancy’s experience in omni-channel consumer engagement would boost its marketing and technology consulting services in France.
Velvet Consulting’s clients include L'Oréal and Sephora. The company employs 200 staff and has offices in Paris and Toulouse.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
