WPP’s Government & Public Sector Practice launches ANZ hub

AUSTRALIA/ NEW ZEALAND — WPP’s global Government & Public Sector Practice has launched a hub to ‘drive excellence in communications and research for public sector clients in Australia and New Zealand’.

The Government & Public Sector Practice Australia New Zealand Hub, based in Sydney, gives clients access to global best practice and WPP agencies’ thinking on government communication, behaviour change programmes, citizen engagement and digital government transformation. Its launch means there are now active hubs in UK, EU, Middle East, ANZ and Africa. WPP plans to launch hubs in US and Singapore in 2016.

The hub is led by Kathryn Cooper (pictured), working alongside WPP ANZ chairman and country manager Geoff Wild.

“Our agencies have a long history of partnering with Government to effectively create societal behaviour change in the region,” said Wild. “We’re very pleased to now be positioned to bring our local clients better access to best practice case studies and thought leadership from around the world, as well as a broader platform for sharing learnings from our region.”
