YouGov appoints group COO

UK — Sundip Chahal has been promoted to the new role of group chief operating officer for YouGov.

Since 2010, he has been CEO of YouGov’s Middle East and North Africa region and oversaw the development of the Asia Pacific business. He joined YouGov’s UK data products and services business in 2005, becoming its managing director in 2007. Chahal has previously worked for Ipsos and Research International in the UK.

As group COO Chahal will be responsible for global business, ensuring consistency of processes and client service across the group, as well as overseeing the performance of the group’s geographic units.
