Zinio and Affinity to study digital mag ad response

US— Digital magazine publisher Zinio is partnering with research firm Affinity on a series of projects to understand consumer use and reaction to magazine content delivered through its web and mobile device platform.

Part of the agreement involves increasing the number of Zinio issues that are tracked as part of Affinity’s syndicated ad effectiveness measurement service, called Vista Digital.

Vista Digital will also start measuring response to content featured in the Explore section of Zinio’s iPad app, which offers readers access to free sample content from magazines, as well as ad messages.

Finally, the two companies plan a ongoing series of research on the topic, ‘The Digital Magazine Space… from A to Z’.”
