2018 Oppies winners announced

UK – The Market Research Society’s 2018 Operations Awards (Oppies), celebrating excellence in the running of the market research sector, took place in London last week.

IRI won the award for operational excellence, with Cobalt Sky highly commended.

According to the judges, IRI "demonstrated effective collaboration between research and operations teams to create a Client Excellence Program that improved overall experience". 

In the categories for best data collection, Acumen Fieldwork was awarded the prize for face-to-face, with Ipsos Mori highly commended. 

Alligator and Northstar London took the award for online data collection and IFF Research was highly commended, while QRS Research was named the winner for telephone data collection.

Walnut Unlimited and University Of Surrey won best data solution and the award for best support services went to Liveminds.

Epinion Research took the award for best training and development, while I-view London was named best viewing facility.

The Oppies award ceremony, sponsored by IFF Research, was held at Beach Blanket Babylon.
