Accenture acquires Brazilian creative agency
Through the acquisition, Accenture will add around 300 Soko employees to the São Paulo office of its creative agency Droga5.
Founded in 2015 by Felipe Simi, Soko’s services combine creativity, data and culture using brand engagement methodologies.
Droga5 is part of Accenture’s creative technology arm Accenture Song.
SOKO co-chief executives Simi and Brisa Vicente are appointed chief executive and creative chairperson, and co-CEO, respectively, at Droga5 São Paulo. Additionally, the agency has appointed former associated partner Felipe Belinky as chief operating officer.
Founded in 2006 by David Droga, Droga5 is headquartered in New York, with offices in London, Dublin, Tokyo and São Paulo.
The move follows Accenture’s recent acquisitions of London marketing group Unlimited, digital and data analytics company Mindcurv and customer experience analytics business GemSeek.
