Alida hires chief architect
Gupta co-founded software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm Jasper and Andale, acquired by Cisco for $1.4bn in 2016. He then spent three years as chief technology officer, software at Cisco.
As well as creating Jasper and Andale, Gupta also led the AIClub for literacy in artificial intelligence across all age groups.
Alida, formerly Vision Critical until it rebranded in 2020, runs a customer experience management and insights platform that is used to collect direct and indirect sources of customer feedback, perform automated actions and gain visibility on customer experience metrics.
Riaz Raihan, president of products and engineering at Alida, said: “Amit brings extensive technology expertise and leadership to Alida. I am thrilled to welcome him to our R&D team.”
