American Airlines appoints customer chief to lead new CX organisation
In the role, Garboden (pictured) will oversee the airline’s newly created customer experience (CX) organisation.
The new CX organisation has been launched to improve all aspects of the customer journey, from the booking process to the flight to providing post-trip feedback.
Garboden has worked at American Airlines since 2014, most recently overseeing its cargo and regional businesses, which involved coordination across operations, commercial, customer experience, finance and other areas. Earlier in her time at the airline, she worked in revenue management and finance.
Prior to joining American Airlines, Garboden spent 10 years at US Airways.
