US – Online survey and customer experience business SurveyMonkey has appointed technology marketing executive Amit Prakash as chief marketing officer.

Earlier this year, SurveyMonkey’s Eric Johnson, formerly interim chief marketing officer, became chief executive, replacing Zander Lurie after the company went private.

The business also rebranded back to SurveyMonkey, after dropping the name for the overall parent company in 2021.

As chief marketing officer, Prakash will have a remit to oversee growth and improve customer experience.

He joins the company from Cloudflare, where he led growth marketing, and previously spent nine years at Amazon Web Services, following agency experience at Omnicom and Publicis.

Chief executive Eric Johnson said the business is focusing on “product-led growth”.

Johnson added: “Amit’s proven track record of building impactful marketing teams at high-growth technology companies makes him well-positioned to help us reach our ambitious goals.”
