Vaughan (pictured) is described as an accomplished market research leader with nearly 30 years’ experience, having worked across both the agency and manufacturer sides of the pharmaceutical industry.

She has worked across all product life stages, and has researched over 20 disease categories spanning rare, speciality and primary care. In recent years, Vaughan has gained meaningful experience leveraging behavioural science to better understand customer decision making and translating this into informed commercial strategy and choices.

Prior to joining Beesy, Vaughan was the director of worldwide and US market research for immunology at Bristol Myers Squibb, supporting franchise, early development and marketed brands. Prior to BMS, she was executive director for global market research at Merck, leading teams in a variety of disease categories and business types.

Beesy chief operating officer Jordan Birnbaum said: “This is very exciting news; Dorothy comes to us with a huge amount of experience on both the agency and manufacturer sides of the pharmaceutical industry.

“Our mission is to leverage rigorous science in order to provide actionable commercial outcomes, especially in the healthcare and CPG space. Dorothy will unquestionably help us to better deliver on our commitment to provide exceptional value to our clients.”
