Chorus.ai raises $45m in Series C funding
The latest funding round was led by Georgian Partners, and other investors included Emergence Capital, Redpoint Ventures and Sozo Ventures.
The company has now raised a total of $85.2m. Chrous.ai works by using machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to analyse all customer calls, meetings and emails involving a company.
Chorus.ai has also appointed Greg Holmes, former head of sales and corporate strategy at video conferencing firm Zoom, to its board.
Jim Benton, chief executive of Chorus.ai, said: “Conversation intelligence is the fastest growing category in Sales Tech with more than 1,500 companies adopting the technology and greater than $220M invested.
“Chorus’ momentum has been fuelled by developing the most advanced AI-powered solution on the market, backed by 12 granted patents and counting.”
Simon Chong, managing partner at Georgian Partners, said: “The challenges businesses are facing in 2020 have created a renewed urgency to strengthen customer relationships, streamline sales handoffs and enhance collaboration within teams.
“Chorus’ vision of a connected conversation intelligence that can enrich any customer relationship management with AI-driven intelligence captured from customer conversations at scale is why we invested early.”
