Access Intelligence is the owner of social media insights platform Pulsar, which will be integrated with Isentia’s media insight tools, following the acquisition.

As global vice-president of insights, Steadman (pictured) will oversee the integration as part of his role, and will lead the company’s global research team, with a focus on translating social analytics and insight into the wider market.

Steadman joined Deliveroo in November 2019 as the online food delivery company’s first customer insight lead. Prior to that, he was senior director of insight and analytics, international, at Twitter.

He is also a main board member of the Market Research Society, member of its Delphi Group and D&I council, and judge for the Research Live awards.

The Access Intelligence portfolio also includes media monitoring company Vuelio and public relations and journalist network ResponseSource.

Tom Golding, chief operating officer, Access Intelligence, said: “It’s a hugely exciting time for the business, and we’re thrilled to have Jake join us at such a pivotal moment in our growth, bringing robust experience across a number of sectors and roles.

“Under Jake’s stewardship there is huge potential for the business to become the leading global provider, creating the next generation of media intelligence.”

Steadman said: “I was one of the first customers of Pulsar and have been a fan ever since. Its integration into the Access Intelligence business has only grown its capabilities, and the recent addition of Isentia to the group makes this an incredibly exciting time to join.”

Deliveroo has not confirmed whether anyone has been appointed to fill Steadman’s role.
