Access Intelligence hires global data VP
Based in Chicago, Krall (pictured) joins Access Intelligence from Socialgist, where he led data compliance and partner certification for Reddit and Quora’s data programmes.
He has previously worked at Topic Data and led research and partnership teams at Zignal Labs and Cision.
Krall will lead the data organisation, shape the data strategy, oversee and strengthen new and existing data partnerships and build governance controls aimed at protecting data access.
Joanna Arnold, chief executive, Access Intelligence, said: “Jay’s experience in the social and media intelligence space in multiple roles, from media researcher to product leader, means that he understands the industry not only as a marketer, but also from a consumer and a journalist’s perspective to ensure we are building our platforms on robust data from across the communication ecosystem.”
The hire follows Access Intelligence’s merger with media monitoring business Isentia and its recent appointment of Jake Steadman as global vice-president of insights.
The company has also added Lisa Gilbert to its board. During her 25 years with IBM, she held various roles including vice-president of marketing for growth markets.
Arnold said: “Lisa’s incredible tenure at IBM, spearheading innovation and digital transformation across the business globally, and especially in APAC, makes her an invaluable asset to our board.”
