Dunnhumby releases sales prediction tool
Revenue Growth Planner uses Dunnhumby’s Customer Demand Model to simulate the impact on sales of any changes to a product’s price or promotional strategy.
The tool uses transactional data from customer to portray likely shopper behaviours, with data updated weekly and adjusted for seasonal and holiday-related variances in sales patterns.
Alex Reynolds, global proposition manager for pricing solutions at Dunnhumby, said: “We designed Revenue Growth Planner to give brands clear, trustworthy insight into the short- and long-term implications of their go-to-market strategies.
