Efamro names new president
Wachter (pictured) joined Nuremberg-based Psyma Group in 1993, most recently holding the position of chief executive. He has been a member of the Efamro executive board since September 2018 and is chairman of business association ADM Arbeitskreis Deutscher Markt- und Sozialforschungsinstitute.
Wachter said: “I am proud to contribute to Efamro’s role as an important stakeholder in the market research sector. Coverage is key, so I will strive to broaden our list of members and prioritise fruitful co-operation between the professional and industry associations on a national as well as an international level.”
Cannon, executive director at Global Research Business Network (GRBN), has been Efamro president for the past seven years.
Debrah Harding, managing director at MRS, will continue in her role as Efamro vice-president.
Harding said: “We would like to thank Andrew for his excellent leadership over the past seven years. During his tenure he oversaw the expansion of Efamro’s membership, as well as the strengthening of our ties to Esomar including our joint public affairs representation to Europe on vital legislative changes including GDPR and e-privacy. We look forward to working with him closely in the future as he continues in his role as executive director at GRBN.”
