It is one of five Welsh business to receive an Enterprise award this year. The agency has been recognised for its excellence in international commercial success, as well as its outstanding growth in overseas trade.
Established in 1997, Empower Translate is an insight translation and localisation agency working exclusively in the market research industry. It has its headquarters in Chepstow and a client base spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
“It is the highest honour to receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise,” commented Empower Translate chief executive Ruth Partington. “Particularly at this time of global and political change, we are proud to be recognised for our contribution to the UK’s established commercial connections on the world stage.”
Now in its 56th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are regarded as the most prestigious business awards in the UK. Winning businesses are presented with their award by one of the Queen’s representatives. They are allowed to fly the Queen’s award flag at their headquarters and use the Queen’s Award for Enterprise emblem for five years.
