Eyeota appoints new APAC MD

AUSTRALIA – Audience data company, Eyeota, has made Andrew Tu its managing director, Asia-Pacific, taking over from co-founder, Trent Lloyd.

Lloyd is moving into a global role, as the new executive vice-president, global publisher strategy and products.

Tu has extensive digital media, marketing, programmatic and audience targeting experience. He has launched APAC operations for ad tech companies including MSN, Ogilvy Interactive, OMD and Adify.

In 2011, he helped launch Brandscreen into APAC, including China. In 2013, he joined The Trade Desk and built the APAC business over three years until its IPO in 2016.

Lloyd said: “As we recalibrate our positioning in the market and I focus more on a global strategy, Andrew was the most logical executive to bring on board. As one of the co-founders of Eyeota and a pioneer in the APAC programmatic world, his regional knowledge, expertise and proven track record is the right fit as we look to accelerate our business in APAC.”
