Pilch (pictured) joins the company from WPP’s Superunion, where she was UK chief financial officer.

She has spent 18 years working for WPP agencies – prior to the merger of Brand Union, Lambie-Nairn, The Partners, Addison and Vbat to create Superunion, she was chief finance officer at The Partners and Lambie-Nairn.

Pilch takes up the COO role at Firefish with immediate effect and will be based in the company’s London headquarters.

Jem Fawcus, chief executive officer at Firefish Group, said: “Natalie came highly recommended to us and couldn’t be more pleased that she chose to work for us. As with all things at Firefish, it is about great people having a great place to work, delivering great work for our great clients and having Natalie overseeing all operations for the group, we can keep delivering on that at a global level.”

The appointment follows the promotion of Daniel Rose to UK managing director at Firefish.
