Flamingo hires sustainability specialist for style division
Hedegaard's (pictured) background in consumer insights includes fashion brands Cos, where she was a consultant on sustainability, and H&M, where she was a sustainability researcher as part of a PhD programme funded by the brand. She was previously development director at the Danish Fashion Institute.
Hedegaard teaches a course on fashion consumer insight at the London College of Fashion and has authored books and articles on insights and sustainability. She said her new role will build on her work on sustainable consumption.
Clients of Flamingo’s specialist style division include Adidas, Glossier and Chanel.
