Gongos promotes Alioto to new global methodology role

US— Gongos Research has promoted Michael Francesco Alioto to the newly created position of vice president of global methodology, and moved research director Lynn Siluk to replace him.

Alioto (pictured) joined the firm in 2009 from Market Probe and previously held the role of vice president of marketing sciences. His new role will see him responsible for evaluating trends and emerging methods, such as mobile, that can be used to target respondents who are unlikely to take part in online research.

The global aspect of his new role will see him working with Gongos’s international clients to “further incorporate consumer knowledge beyond the US and in growing multicultural segments of the population here”.

Research director Lynn Siluk has been promoted to Alioto’s previous role as VP of marketing sciences. She joined the firm in 2006 as a research director focusing on analytics, following a 17-year spell with Ford.

Her new role will see her lead Gongos’ quantitative, statistical analysis, study design and reporting capabilities.
