Palmer (pictured) has spent the past eight years at IBM, most recently as team lead for advertising research, brand and media insights, responsible for building the company’s advertising research function.

She also co-led the global customer experience programme and started a research programme to support product development.

At Zappi, she will lead the company’s product strategy and design new approaches for clients.

Ryan Barry, Zappi’s president, said: “Lauren has a proven ability to integrate advertising solutions that build better and more predictive creative across channels. She works with a precise yet agile approach, always thinking about the people surrounding the advertising development and measurement journey and the value they need to receive from advertising data.”
