Informa expands business intelligence division
The Business Intelligence division now comprises of six vertical businesses: industry and infrastructure; transportation; agribusiness; financial; pharma and TMT.
Informa bought Penton in November 2016 for £1.2 billion.
Patrick Martell (pictured), chief executive of Business Intelligence said: "Penton, has expanded and complemented Informa’s existing Business Intelligence offering. We now address new vertical industries, and have extended our reach, products and offerings throughout the division, giving customers deeper sources of specialist intelligence and opportunities to strengthen their businesses."
The Business Intelligence division is now comprised of six vertical businesses: industry and infrastructure; transportation; agribusiness; financial; pharma and TMT.
In addition, Penton has brought marketing services capabilities and relationships in specialist markets.
It also intends to grow consulting in 2017, building on the insight and industry knowledge within each vertical to give customers new types of intelligence.
