US – Digital sampling and data collection company Innovate has created a strategic partnership with Canadian-based shopping app Zweet.

The partnership will give Innovate access to Zweet’s member-base of 550,000 Canadians, half of which are in Quebec.

It is the first time researchers have been able to tap into the Zweet audience for consumer insights, with members willingly participating in research campaigns.

Zweet allows marketers to promote their products on a pay-per-performance basis while gaining insights on when and where their products were bought and by whom. The app allows consumers to scan receipts to earn cash back on purchases, which are later used for data mining and validation.

Eduardo Mandri, co-founder and CEO of Zweet, said: “We launched Zweet two years ago as a companion to our Tuango property, the largest daily deal website in the province of Quebec. Our member-base is growing quickly and we are confident that Zweet will become the principal resource for researchers looking to reach Canadian respondents.”
