Instagram opens ad platform to all brands
The platform was previously only open to a select group of brands in eight markets, including the US and UK, but from today will be accessible to smaller brands across 30 countries including Italy, Spain, South Korea, India and Mexico. By the end of the month it will be available to all markets.
According to The Verge, the 15-second ad length limit has also been increased to 30 seconds, and advertisers will be able to use landscape photo and video now that Instagram has reportedly lifted its restriction on using square format only.
Since rolling out its own ad platform, Instagram’s usage among high profile brands has grown significantly.
