FRANCE – Ipsos has appointed Jean-Michel Mabon to lead the company’s mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on extending its reach in ‘key sectors and technologies’.

Mabon (pictured) joined Ipsos in September 1998 and has previously served as the company’s chief operations officer (COO).

In addition to his time as COO, Mabon has also held various other executive positions at Ipsos, overseen major global studies and financial organisations, and grown the business’ network in Latin America.

In his new role, Mabon will focus on increasing and carrying out Ipsos’ ‘smart acquisitions’ strategy, which focuses on key sectors and technologies.

Ben Page, chief executive at Ipsos, said: “Jean-Michel is a widely respected professional with a deep understanding of our industry and how it is transforming – and importantly is someone with a deep knowledge of Ipsos and its future growth.”
