Ipsos promotes Gronberger to head of ASI division

US— Ipsos has promoted Alex Gronberger to chief executive of its ASI advertising research business.

Gronberger has been with the firm since 1995 and was made president of Ipsos ASI Europe in 2002. In 2007, he relocated from Paris to Chicago to launch the ASI global client organisation and was made president of ASI emerging markets soon after.

Before joining Ipsos, he spent a decade at Unilever where he managed brands across Argentina, Colombia and the US.

Gronberger (pictured) said: “These are exciting times. Consumer values and demands are changing. Brands need to be very alert to these shifts and must account for them in every stage of their communication process. Over the next few months, we will be launching new products even more adapted to the demands of our clients, offering holistic measurement, higher efficiencies and faster turnaround times.”

His promotion follows the appointment of Anne Hedde, former CEO of Lightspeed Research, who joined Ipsos ASI as global president this summer.
