Jim Whaley joins AMSR board of trustees
Whaley (pictured) has been chief executive at New York-based OvationMR since 2016, and is also a member of the board of directors at the Marketing Research Education Foundation (MREF) and Market Research Institute International (MRII).
Patrick Barwise, chair, AMSR, said: “Jim has been a strong supporter of the Archive for many years, and we appreciate his dedication to the market research industry, not only in the US but also in this country.
“We are proud that, in addition to his positions as a board member at the MREF and MRII in the US, he has now agreed to join our board. We value the broad global experience he can provide.”
Jim Whaley added: “I fully support the AMSR mission of preserving and publicising research and its history. We share similar core values in wishing to contribute to the industry. I look forward to working closely with the dedicated Archive volunteers”.
Formed in 2016, the AMSR collects, preserves and scans documents, including questionnaires, reports and presentations, from the UK market and social research industry over the past 70 years, making them available via the AMSR website.
