Kantar buys Danish shopper data business
Founded in 2020, Kauza offers purchase shopper data for the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
Through the acquisition, Kantar will expand its consumer, retail and shopper expertise in the Nordics region.
Guillaume Bacuvier, chief executive officer, Worldpanel Division, Kantar, said: “Strengthening our reach through the acquisition of Kauza is the natural progression in our mission to gather the richest shopper and consumer insights for our clients.”
Peter Glavind, managing director and founder, Kauza, added: “Kauza has been built on a culture of excellence and a team of experts that are our core asset. We are confident our combined capabilities will offer brands best-in-class insights at speed and scale.”
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
