Kin + Carta becomes a B Corp in Europe

UK – The European arm of digital transformation company Kin + Carta has gained B Corporation certification.

The process to become B Corp certified requires meeting targets in five areas: governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

Businesses must provide evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity and corporate transparency.

Kin + Carta became B Corp certified for its Americas division in January 2021. The company’s shareholders recently voted to pass a resolution to amend its articles of association, which now commit the board to balancing considerations around people, profit and the planet.

J Schwan, chief executive, Kin + Carta (pictured), said: "The certification of our European division is an important milestone in our B Corp journey. We’re now one step away from our ambition to achieve B Corp certification for the whole business by the end of the calendar year."
