MM-Eye obtains B Corp status
MM Eye began the process of becoming B Corp certified in early 2022.
Founded 15 years ago, MM-Eye underwent a management buyout in 2020 and became 100% employee-owned at the start of 20023. Since it began its B Corp application, the company has doubled its staff numbers.
To become B Corp certified, businesses must complete an assessment process, administered by B Lab UK, that requires meeting targets in social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
Companies must re-certify every three years to retain the certification.
Around 1,400 B Corp certified companies are based in the UK, out of over 6,000 businesses globally.
Alison Phillips, client services director at MM-Eye said: “Getting to this point has been a true team effort, involving many within MM-Eye and with critical guidance and support from Andy Hawkins, our B leader.
“Being B Corp is fundamental to our desire to provide insights that power positive change and we look forward to collaborating with the B Corp community.”
