Maru Group hires chief people officer

UK – Market research and consumer insights company Maru Group has appointed Dina Plahouras as chief people officer.

Plahouras joins Maru Group from North American bakery Weston Foods, where spent 12 years in human resources, most recently as director of organisational change management. In this role, she was responsible for developing and implementing change management initiatives across the company’s North American business.

Prior to Weston Foods, Plahouras held roles at Magna International, Cinram and Carpenter Canada.

Ged Parton, chief executive of Maru Group, said: "Dina has an excellent track record in leading and developing strategic HR programmes and a proven ability to drive collaboration that fosters innovative cultures across large organisations.

"We are committed to developing and supporting talent across Maru, and Dina will play an integral role in upholding these values across the group as it continues to grow both organically and through acquisition."
