Merkle names UK sales head

UK – Customer experience management firm Merkle, part of media company Dentsu International, has promoted Mark Atkinson to UK chief sales officer.

Atkinson (pictured) was formerly vice-president Adobe Europe, Middle East and Africa alliance and enterprise sales lead for Merkle.

Prior to joining Merkle in 2021, Atkinson worked for Adobe for seven years, most recently as UK head of platform and specialist sales.

In his new role, Atkinson will lead the UK sales team and manage Merkle’s UK alliance activities.

Merkle is a customer experience management business focused on analytics, data and marketing technology, media and strategy, and transformation.

Anne Stagg, chief executive at Merkle UK, said: “Merkle has seen huge growth across our entire customer experience management offering, with the UK sales team delivering new business growth of 10.3% in 2021.

“Mark’s experience at Adobe and his expertise across the industry makes him the perfect choice for this role. I’m delighted that Mark will be leading this hugely successful team and will be a critical asset in our growth ambitions.”
