Merkle opens technology practice

UK – Customer experience business Merkle, part of Dentsu International, has created a dedicated technology consulting practice and appointed Andy Ankrah to lead it as head of technology consulting.

The UK Technology Consulting practice will help companies with technology planning, investment and strategy, with a focus on customer experience.

Ankrah (pictured) will lead the practice and report to Niyi Duro-Emanuel, who leads Merkle’s UK strategy team and who was appointed in June.

Before taking up his new role, Ankrah was senior director of solutions at Merkle Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea), and previously set up a customer experience optimisation practice in the UK.

Duro-Emanuel said: “Andy and the technology consulting practice will accelerate alignment across Emea markets in Merkle’s approach to technology recommendation when it comes to navigating the complexities of customer experience management and driving value through technology.”
