Merkle expands to Taiwan

TAIWAN – Global advertising company Dentsu International has launched a Taiwan branch of its customer experience management business Merkle.

Merkle Taiwan will focus on media, creativity and customer experience management, as well as data and digital transformation, and joins the existing Taiwanese branch of parent company Dentsu.

Carrie Tsai, currently chief executive of iProspect Taiwan, will become Merkle Taiwan’s chief executive.

Boice Lin will be general manager of Merkle Taiwan, having previously been senior vice-president of global partnerships/global business development at Appier.

Dr Harvey Chen will be Merkle Taiwan’s executive director for data intelligence, having previously been chief technology officer at Big Data Co.

Tony Wang has become client lead at Merkle Taiwan, having previously worked at Nielsen and ComScore, and Rasmus Yu Limschou will work in pre-sale and project management, following a prior role as an agile consultant at Merkle Nordics.

Jason Kang, former lead solution architect at iProspect Taiwan, will lead Merkle Taiwan’s delivery team.

Jennifer Tang, chief executive at Dentsu Taiwan, said: “With Merkle joining Dentsu Taiwan, we are able to immediately respond to the market and clients’ demands, and also further consolidate our industry leadership in creative, media and customer experience management.”
