MetrixLab hires Mexico MD

THE NETHERLANDS – Digital research agency MetrixLab has appointed José Antonio Huerta as managing director for Mexico.

Huerta joins the company from Kantar Millward Brown Mexico, where he spent the last 15 years. Based in Mexico City, he will be responsible for leading the company’s growth in the Mexican market.

He replaces Ricardo Cuéllar Barnusell, who was appointed in 2015 but will now focus on the broader Latin American and Spanish markets for MetrixLab.

Rebeca Dreicon, managing director for Brazil and regional leader for Latin America, said: “Mexico is part of our expanding Latin American region, where we have experienced rapid growth over the past years and where we continue to have a positive outlook. José’s passion and experience are a great fit for our global team and culture.”

Huerta takes up the role as of today ( 3 December).

Headquartered in Rotterdam, MetrixLab has offices in Asia, Europe, the US and Latin America.
