Mintel releases closed-loop generative AI tool

UK – Consumer research business Mintel has launched a closed-loop generative artificial intelligence (AI) market intelligence tool.

The tool, called Mintel Leap, is based on Mintel’s own research, data and analysis and seeks to deliver research and recommendations on people, products and categories.

Mintel Leap responds to companies’ prompts and, as a closed loop system, is not reliant on data from the internet or social media.

Matt Nelson, chief executive officer at Mintel, said: “By utilising cutting-edge generative AI, billions of data points and years’ worth of Mintel’s unparalleled analyst expertise can now be discovered and summarised in seconds.
