MMGY Global acquires TCI Research

FRANCE/US – Travel and hospitality marketing firm MMGY Global has acquired data intelligence business for the travel and tourism sector TCI Research for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition will enhance MMGY Global’s travel intelligence capabilities and expand its presence in Europe, with offices in Paris and Brussels, with TCI Research rebranded as MMGY TCI Research.

The deal will see MMGY Global expand its employee numbers to 550 worldwide and 12 offices, with other bases in the UK, US and Canada.

Olivier Henry-Biabaud, founder at TCI Research, and long-time partner Emmanuel Meunier will remain at MMGY TCI Research with Henry-Biabaud as partner and managing director, and Meunier as senior vice-president, Europe.

Katie Briscoe, chief executive at MMGY Global, said: “Never before has the need for research, data and insights to build a solid foundation in marketing and communication strategies been greater.

“With the addition of MMGY TCI Research, we can increasingly do this on a global scale.”
