MRS’s Frost and Harding on women in trade associations powerlist

UK – Jane Frost, chief executive at the Market Research Society (MRS), and MRS managing director Debrah Harding have both been named on the 2024 Women in Trade Associations Powerlist.

The list seeks to champion prominent women working for trade associations in the UK, with publication coinciding with International Women’s Day

The Trade Association Forum, the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) worked together on the initiative.

Frost (pictured left) is responsible for the leadership of MRS, overseeing its strategy, growth and evolution.
Prior to joining MRS, she led the individual customer function and the behavioural evidence and insight unit at HM Revenue & Customs.

Harding (pictured right) has been managing director at MRS since 2015, having been at the organisation since 1999 in a variety of roles including chief operating officer and deputy director general.

In a comment introducing this year’s power list, the TAF, CBI and FSB said: “TAF, the CBI and the FSB are pleased to have joined forces to champion the role of women in trade associations, celebrate their achievements and encourage the next generation of women into the association sector.

TAF, FSB and CBI are proud to be led by strong female champions and to be supported in our respective organisations by brilliant women at all stages of their careers.

“It is our shared ambition to support our own staff and other inspirational women in trade associations to be powerful advocates for diversity and inclusion in their sectors and more widely to support and encourage female business leaders and entrepreneurs.”
