UK – Insight and strategy business MTM has appointed Rose Tomlins as managing partner and board member and is unifying its business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) work within a single quantitative department.

Tomlins (pictured) most recently held brand and insight director roles at Virgin Money and Bally’s, and has prior experience working at Firefish and GfK.

At MTM, Tomlins will help unify its B2B and B2C practices within one team and improve the integration between quantitative outputs and the qualitative and strategy specialisms within the business.

In addition, Tomlins aims to increase innovation in MTM’s research approach and design.

Caroline Wren, managing director at MTM, said: “A seasoned strategic insights leader, Rose brings deep experience at wrangling different types of data into narratives to influence stakeholders.

“This, combined with her experience helping brands navigate significant change, as well as her passion for innovation, will be invaluable as we continue to grow.”

Tomlins added: “The opportunity to reshape and expand MTM’s quantitative offering to make it stand out, especially in a time of change in the industry and the age of gen AI, is truly exciting.

“I’m energised by the chance to drive this transformation and so pleased to be joining the board and leading the stellar quant department.”
