Mustard expands team with two hires

UK – Manchester-based market research company Mustard has appointed Abby Phinn as research manager and Robyn Mason as senior research executive.

Phinn (pictured left) has spent the past six years working at Launchpad Research, where she specialised in brand, product and shopper research, and is based in the north-east of England.

Mason (pictured right) was previously at the in-house research team at fashion brand Boohoo, where she specialised in usage and attitude research for acquired brands including Dorothy Perkins, Burton and Wallis, as Boohoo integrated these brands into its online portfolio.

The two new hires follow Mustard’s announcement of 35% growth in the first quarter of 2023.

Colin Auton, managing director at Mustard, said: “We’re thrilled that our business strategy is delivering strong results for Mustard, and are delighted to welcome Abby and Robyn to the team.

“Given her Tyneside location, Abby will play a critical role in servicing our client base in the north-east and Scotland, and will bolster our fast-moving consumer goods expertise.

“Robyn’s experience in both fashion and e-commerce is a great fit for our fast-growing business in this area. I’ve no doubt that they will both make significant contributions at Mustard over the coming years as we continue to grow our business.”
