Bance (pictured) was previously head of diversity and inclusion at Macmillan Cancer Support, where she created the charity’s first equity, diversity and inclusion strategy.
In her new role, Bance will lead DEI strategy and implementation across OMG’s UK operations, working closely with the group’s leadership and people teams, employee resource groups (ERGs) and partners.
Bance will report into Nicki Hare, chief marketing officer at OMG UK and chair of its UK DEI steering group, and Claire Douglas-Pennant, chief people officer.
Laura Fenton, chief executive at OMG UK, said: “Kiran is an engaging and collaborative DEI leader who joins us with a breadth of specialist experience gained within the media, finance and charity sectors.
“With her previous experience and proven successes, driving positive change across matrix structured businesses, focusing both internally and externally, she will ensure that we continue to build on the important work we have done to date to champion diversity across OMG and the wider industry.”
