‘AI Pack Screener’ has been updated to provide performance predictions for packaging designs across specified key performance indicators showing the likelihood of in-market sales.

The tool uses expert assessments and an algorithm based on in-context behavioural data in its analysis of packaging.

The new version of AI Pack Screener includes AI image recognition tool Viz.AI, which predicts on-shelf visibility and shopper reactions, and System 1 Sprint, a fully-automated survey capturing shopper reactions.

Olivier Blanchet, chief executive officer of PRS in Vivo, said: “We’ve been proactive in gathering iterative feedback to continually sharpen the combination of the best of behaviour-based AI with the expertise of our most senior consultants – who’ve tested hundreds of packs over the years – to bring our pivotal human advantage to agile data.’’
